DALLAS -- I'm heading for the airport soon, but I felt obligated to let you know who not to pick in this weekend's games.  

Sorry, Viking fans, but I like your squad on Sunday, says the guy who went 1-3 during wild-card weekend.  

I don't know if the games will be good, but thematchups going in certainly are intriguing. In the AFC, the contrasting styles will be particularly interesting to watch.  

(By the way, if you see me in the stands at a junior varsity dance competition in Wayzata on Saturday afternoon (I'll be the one in the Apple Valley Avaire t-shirt, no idea what's going on,yelling"Whooooooooooooooo!"), don't tell me the Cardinals-Saints score. I'll be DVRing that one.)  


Anyhoo ...  

The old-school Jets, ranked No. 1 in defense and running the ball, to toSan Diego to take on a team that's become the Philip Rivers passing show. Andin Indianapolis,theRavens' smash-mouth defense and the running/receiving of bowling ball Ray Rice face a Colts teambuilt on the right arm of Peyton Manning.  

In the NFC, theCardinals are at New Orleans in a game that couldhave more points than the 96 that the Cards and Packers put up last week. And, at the Metrodome, two very similar teams face when the Cowboys play the Vikings.  

A million differentthingscan happen in each game.I've thought about all the different storylines, such as:
