DALLAS -- Cowboys running back Marion Barber III (knee) was listed as having "limited" participation in today's practice, but coach Wade Phillips all but came out and said the former Gopher will play on Sunday.
"He did practice some and ran some. Ran pretty well, actually," Phillips said. "We'll see how it goes tomorrow, but that's encouraging. It's looking better and better for him to play on Sunday."
Phillips said if Barber plays, he will start. When asked how he'll spread the carries among Barber, Felix Jones and Tashard Choice, Phillips cracked in his best deadpan, "Yeah, we loveto give away our gameplan away."
Phillips said Barber "showed a lot today and will need to show a little more tomorrow." Not to put words in Wade's mouth, but that usually means the team needs to wait and see if Barber's knee swells overnight after today's activities.

It's raining down here now. Weird to see precipitation of the unfrozen kind. And when I put on the brakes on my rented mini-van (long story, last car they had), it doesn't slide through the intersection like it does in Minnesota, where apparently they haven't yet discovered that salt melts ice on the road.
