Vikings quarterbacks coach Kevin Rogers spent the day at Halas Hall interviewing for the Chicago Bears offensive coordinator's job and the Chicago Tribune reports tonight that if both parties liked what they heard, things could move quickly.

A source toldthe Tribune that the Bears seemed to be operating with more urgency in trying to fill their offensive coordinator opening. However, the story also said if Rogers and the Bears aren't thrilled by how things went that the process could drag on for another two weeks.

Meanwhile, Pro Football Talk reported tonight that Pitt offensive coordinator Frank Cignetti, who emerged as a candidate for the Bears job, now says he will stay at Pitt.

There are other college coaches potentially in the mix for the Bears job, including Alabama offensive coordinator Jim McElwain and Miami offensive coordinator Mark Whipple.
